Your Guide to Halloween Events!

There are no official trick-or-treating hours on Halloween, but you’ll find that there are a ton of events during the holiday week. Below are some of the events near or in the 32nd Ward to consider. Check out choosechicago.com & chicagoparkdistrict.com for citywide events.
Halloween Parade – Roscoe Village Neighbors
Date: October 23
Time: 2 PM – 4 PM
Parade will start from Oakley and Roscoe at 2 PM sharp!
Join us for the 18th annual RVN Halloween Parade and Party complete with a special guest, Lane Tech Marching Band and Trick or Treating at Roscoe businesses.  Following the parade there will be fun and spooky activities for all ages.  This year’s post-parade, activities (located between Hoyne and Hamilton on Roscoe) promise to be the biggest ever.  New this year, they’ve increased the number of craft and activity tables, commissioned a photo booth, and arranged for five local vendors to provide food options and two food trucks.
Trick or Treat on Southport
Date: Monday, October 31
Time: 4 PM – 8 PM  Southport from Belmont to Irving Park
The neighborhood’s favorite fall tradition returns in 2016!  Presented by the Chicago Cubs, Trick or Treat on Southport celebrates Halloween with free, family-friendly activities and trick or treating at local businesses.

 The event will take place on Halloween instead of the traditional Sunday due to the MLB post season home game schedule.
